When we get together, we eat!
After both services, we have snacks and fellowship. We always need people to bring snacks and set up for our weekly, informal fellowship time. If you are new to St. Timothy’s, we hope you will come to coffee hour, have a snack and meet some new friends.
Post 8am Fellowship is cookies, crackers, and make-your-own-Keurig cup of coffee. If you would like to host / set up for this fellowship, please email Helen at: [email protected].
Post 10am Fellowship You can purchase whatever set up you would like to offer or ask our fellowship commissioner to give you info about some of our pre-ordered options at local eateries. Think about what 1 to 100 year olds like to eat.
Financial note: We welcome you contributing to St. Timothy's community by subsidizing this fellowship. However, if you would like St. Timothy's to cover expenses, we will reimburse you for up to $75 per each 11am Sunday fellowship. All you need to is complete this form and email the office with completed form and receipts for reimbursement. If you are comfortable emailing images and files - send it to [email protected]. Otherwise, you can always drop off the paper form during office hours.

HOST PREPARATION
- We have standing orders at various local vendors like Bagel street cafe (Danville Livery), Dainty Donuts (San Ramon, Crow Canyon Rd). Donuts have also come from Safeway. Regarding any grocery store, we lean towards 2 sugary treats, cheese/cracker/protein offering, and a fruit.
- This is, by far, the easiest option. On the Monday preceding the week you are hosting, let our fellowship commissioner know and she can guide you through the process- Karen at: [email protected].
- If you pick up a pre-order, go to the restaurant, pick up, and deliver the food on Sunday to the parish before 10am worship
- If you want to build your own menu, fantastic! You are only limited by your imagination and pocketbook over $75.
- If you plan on attending the 10:00 am service, you could drop the food in parish hall ahead of worship and set up quickly right after church.
- If you are hosting and worshiping, we suggest leaving right after communion to give yourself a few minutes to setup.
- Coffee grounds should be put in trashcans and NOT down the garbage disposal.
- If you use them, we greatly appreciate it if you could take the dirty dish towels and sponges home to wash and return.
- Remember, there is no “right” or “wrong” way to host coffee hour!
