The term “Outreach” has become so broad that it is confusing for many. In our context, Outreach is not Evangelism. There is nothing wrong with inviting people to church or talking about God with others. We define outreach as giving time, passions and money to ministries that don’t directly benefit the church community.
At St. Timothy’s, outreach is one of our core practices. For us, Outreach is defined as helping ministries outside the church wall. The Fruits of the Harvest (FOTH) fundraiser is our major funding support for the organizations on our list of ministry partners. These are our Ministry Partners with active links (see white link button below) supported by grants to their websites so that you may see their missions and important causes more in-depth.
At the same time, we use our campus for big outreach occasions and for smaller short-term, hands-on projects called ‘God’s Hands.” These large and small events are great on-ramps for you and your family to support with your time and money. It’s also a way to get involved and get to know people in the family that is Saint Timothy’s.
